When disasters strike, specialist response teams need the money to react quickly in order to save lives. Vodafone India Foundation will always consider the need to respond to emergency situations and help wherever possible.
As a participating member of Vodafone’s global Red Alert programme, we also hope to harness the power of mobile fundraising to help save lives when disasters strike in India and around the world.
Through the utilisation of SMS Giving campaigns initiated under a Vodafone Red Alert. Red Alert is an emergency SMS fundraising programme enabling Vodafone Foundations and Vodafone companies to respond to emergencies and disasters. The programme provides the facility for Vodafone employees and customers in 21 countries to give free of charge to appeals via SMS in response to disasters and emergencies.
